Usually April is too cold, but this year the weather was beautiful for weddings in sessions. You just never know in New England. As you can see from this wedding is was beautiful and warm.
Family session
Family sessions are a wonderful treasure to have. The task is getting everyone to agree on a day, but when it comes together, it’s so worth the time and effort.
Mother’s day Presents!
Mother’s day is coming. Don’t know what to get her?
Flowers die, food/candy gets eaten, nik-naks get forgotten about, but pictures are cherished for a life time.
We can provide you with sessions before mother’s day, on mother’s day, or gift certificates for another day.

February Wedding
Through the winter you never know what the weather will be. This year Connecticut had a very mild one, except for the storm that hit in October. Most brides who book there weddings in the winter want the snow though. Autumn and Scott where graced with a few flakes on their day. Just enough to get some running in the snow pictures.
The rest of the evening was filled with laughter and good times. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. It was a very simple wedding. No frills needed. I love it when the bride and groom enjoy every part of their day. It makes my job easier when they’re so happy smiling and into each other.
Give
I have always believed my talent for seeing the beauty in things and capturing it with a camera, paint brush, pencil, etc a GIFT. Something I was meant to do. So when I can use it to give I do. My favorite organizations I love to volunteer for are “Operation Smile“, “Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep”, and the “Heart Gallery“. These are wonderful organizations that if you have the money and/or the time, please give.
I photographed this beautiful girl for the Heart Gallery. All children should have someone to love and take care of them. If you have room in your heart for her or any of the other hundreds of children who need a good home, please contact the Heart Gallery today and adopted a child.
Best time to photograph babies
A newborn portrait is the most treasured. They only stay so tiny for about a month. To capture how tiny they once were, make sure to schedule your session within the first week or two. We can come to you so you don’t have to take baby anywhere. My next favorite time to photograph baby is just when they start sitting up. I think it’s when their adorable personality really shines.

Kim &Bill – Ghostbusters
This wonderful couple was so much fun to photograph. You know those guys on TV who go around and detect for the paranormal activity? That’s them. We even went in the basement of the church after the ceremony looking for spirits. Yes it’s a little scary. lol But it was great. The places they picked were as unique and rich with character just like they were. I think that’s important for ever couple to make sure they do. Pick the place, the decorations, everything that says who they are. It’s why I love meeting couples like Kim & Bill, and getting the great opportunity to photograph their wedding. I love capturing their style.
Lisa & Josh – engaged
This engagement session was in South Boston at a building that was refurbished for artists. Lisa is one of them. The place was ideal for photographing. I’d love to go back and take the time to go through all the artist galleries, and take more pictures of the place and area. Unique and fantastic! Lisa & Josh are such a wonderful couple. I had such a hard time choosing my favorites, so I’m posting them all.
Amy & Rob
Amy & Rob had a beautiful wedding in Farmington at the Hill-Stead Museum. It’s just a wonderful place. The gardens, the house, and the carriage house really make it a unique place to have a wedding.
