When I decided to start my own business it was because I saw a lot of photographers just snapping and moving on. I wanted to create, and do more. Still till this day, it’s all about get in, get out, and get it done. I’m not that photographer. I want to know my clients, and make sure I give them photographs that they will treasure. I want them to come back, and let me photograph every important step of their lives. I want my clients to tell me what makes them unique, and capture that. Photographing to me is the most important job ever, because I am telling your story. It’s all about you, him, her, them. Whatever emotion is there, at that moment and time, that is what I want you to feel every time you look at it. Life should pore out of every photograph. That’s my goal. My style? True to LIFE…
I have 13 years of photographing weddings, non/photogenic people, kids, animals, nature, etc. I know what works, what doesn’t, and I’m always looking for something different. I can photograph at the same location 50 times a year, and every one of my clients walks away with something that is unique just for them. No cookie cutter process here, my images are as unique as the people in them. I work with every client to find the perfect location, the perfect props, and the perfect lighting. When it’s not perfect, we make it perfect, or wait till it is.
Another important part of my process is I actually Photoshop your images. It takes seconds to run them through a program, throw some filters on, and call it art. Not here, sorry, filters are last resort. I think it’s more important to get rid of the unwanted, and enhance the beauty. Example; you will never see a garbage can in my images. Nothing against them, they just don’t belong in professional photographs (unless we’re using it as a prop). My job as a professional photographer is not to alter who people are, but I am responsible for what I put into the world. So ever image posted and printed is photoshopped to create a professional level photograph that you will be proud to show off.
Lynne Ann Photography does not discriminate. I love seeing everyone happy. I read books that have happy endings, and believe music is a universal language to help us get through the bad times, and have the best time of our lives. The Camera is my tool to create art, and show how beautiful the world is.
A great photograph speaks a thousand words, and make your heart sing. L.A.Wentworth
