November wedding

I’m not one for words but I must tell you about this last wedding;

Bed & Breakfast: Silas W. Robbins House

Wedding consultant: Dreaming Tree Events

Reception: Riverview in Simsbury, CT

DJ: After Hours DJ

 In November I had the privilege of photographing a wonderful wedding for Meg and Camilo. It began at this gorgeous bed and breakfast, Silas W. Robbins House. The home is located in old Wethersfield, CT. Every room is furnished with antiques, to bring you back to a simpler time.  I had the best time photographing the details, using the elegant chairs, coaches, doorways, mantels, and windows.

Ceremony was held right down the road at the Church of the Incarnation. Beautiful stain glass windows, marble alter, and the best part was service was performed by a family member.

As you can see the weather was gorgeous, warm and sunny in November.  I loved that I was able to take the couple and family portraits outside. Especially since there were still beautiful colored leaves on the trees.  Awesome!

After taking amazing formals back at Silas W. Robbins Home, we head to Riverview where Meg and Camilo surprised everyone with the most wonderful ball room dance. They were fabulous! Every step, they glided and twirled across the floor. Makes the top of my list for best first dance ever.

Meg and Camilo had Bert from After Hours DJ providing the music. Bert is one of my favorite DJs. AfterhoursDJ are fantastic, and I highly recommend. If you’re looking for a DJ service that will cater to your music needs, especially if you have a specific style, they will provide it.Riverview always does a beautiful job. The food, the amazing cake, the staff and service, everything’s just wonderful.  The building is just elegant and spacious. Plenty of places to take photographs, party, dance, even quiet corners to relax and enjoy your evening.   It’s one of my favorite halls.
